Profile Information

You may optionally provide additional information such as your major, graduation year, academic interests, profile photo, and bio. This information enhances your experience and helps us connect you with relevant opportunities.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with TARIQI — including pages visited, features used, search queries, content viewed, and time spent on the platform. This data is used to improve our services.

Device & Technical Data

We automatically collect device information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and cookie data to ensure platform security and optimize performance.

Communications

To provide, maintain, and improve all TARIQI features including college discovery, scholarship listings, job board, marketplace, CV builder, community, events, and student housing.

To personalize your experience by recommending universities, scholarships, job opportunities, and community connections based on your academic profile and interests.

To send you important account notifications, platform updates, scholarship and job alerts, and — with your consent — promotional messages about new features.

8. Data Retention

Active Accounts

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services. You can request deletion at any time.

Deleted Accounts

Upon account deletion, your personal data will be deleted within 30 days, except for data we are required to retain by law (e.g., financial transaction records for 7 years).

Backup & Logs

Backup copies and system logs may retain data for up to 90 days after deletion requests as part of our security and operational processes.
